Fried Prawns

I just love PRAWNS! It doesn’t matter how you prepare them - fried, steamed, boiled, in noodles, baked, BBQ - I simply love prawns. If u asked me why? I have no good answer for it. I know it’s high on cholestrol so I don’t eat too much of it. But it’s still irresistible. Here’s one of the simplest, fastest and yummiest way to prepare prawns. One of those no fuss recipes. Even the shells are worth chewing on!
Ingredients:
400g prawns - deveined, shell-on
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp chilli powder(optional)
2 tsp black pepper
salt to taste
oil for frying
Method:
- Mix the prawn with all the ingredients above. Adjust pepper and salt according to taste.
- Heat oil and fry the prawns. Make sure you flip the prawns half way through frying to get an even coloring.
- Once the prawns turn a golden brown, remove and drain on kitchen paper.
- Garnish with chillies or cilantro. Serve hot with rice.

Wah..sounds delicious! I eat petai only when it’s fried with prawns. I don’t know what the dish is called though. But I don’t cook petai at all cos I’ll be the only one eating it
